1957 Born in Reims.
1963 He started his musical and violin studies at the Regional Music Conservatory in Reims
1974 Enrolled in the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse (CNSMD) in Paris as a violin, chamber music, analysis, harmony and electroacoustic composition major
1977 Joined the GRM+ Trio founded by François Bayle, composer and director of the Groupe de Recherche Musicale
1978 Became Assistant Professor in Guy Reibel and Pierre Schaeffer’s class at the CNSMD in Paris
1986 Became the conductor and Artistic Director of the TM+ Ensemble
1987-1992 Concert-lectures Producer at Radio-France
1991 Took over the Tenured Professor post in the Composition and New Technologies class at the Parisian CNSMD
1994 Conducted his first concert with the Orchestre Philahrmonique de Radio-France
1996 The TM+ Ensemble started its residence at the Maison de la Musique in Nanterre
1999-2009 Was a member of the symphonic music artistic committee of SACEM (Music Authors, Composers and Editors Society)
2001 Left his teaching post at the CNSMDP to devote himself to composing, conducting and to the development of the TM+ Ensemble
From 2001 to our days Laurent Cuniot has been leading a deep and constant work of approach to musical creation and diffusion of it throughout Nanterre and Ile de France
2013 Takes up the post as a Composition Tenured Professor at the Regional Music Conservatory in Rueil-Malmaison

2018 With his piece Conditions de lumières, he inaugurated an intimate Tetralogy composed by L’Ange Double for oboe and orchestra, Une for vibraphone, percussions solos and ensemble, and La nuit Dépliée for full orchestra
2021 Efji, a monographic CD, was released by the Merci pour les sons label
